Each February, a small group gathers at the Billy Graham Training Center for the Asheville Christian Writers Conference. At the close of the event, the conference director asks attendees to note the time they felt God calling them to write for Him. The two co-founders then gather those “callings,” go up the mountain, read them, pray over each testimony, anoint with oil, and bury these “callings” on the mountain.
